Description

To get to the trailhead start on Long Downhill. It's a sudden right turn onto this rocky descent, which rides parallel to Long Downhill for a little while. The initial section of this trail doesn't have anything difficult but immediately after crossing the Upper Perimeter Trail (be mindful of cross traffic!) is a log laying across the trail that's been turned into an easy jump (B-line around it on right).

After the log jump is when the technical fun starts with a few roots and then into a very very rocky wide section of the trail. Sight lines from this point are great with a bunch of line choices on this wide piece of trail to go as fast as you dare.

There are a few small natural rock features to jump off of and a two-foot log drop toward the end. To continue the downhill fun, make a left onto the Rivanna Trail (RTF): Fontaine Ave to Ivy Rd that will take you down to Fontaine Ave.
