Description

The trail is named for the numerous birds of prey that guard the Seven Mile Creek Watershed. Bald Eagles and Red Tail Hawks call this coastal valley home. Soar down the trail as it descends from the top of the landing at the end of Upper Copperhead Road to the bottom of 7 Mile Creek.

Riders can choose to continue down to the bottom of the trail which ties into Lower Copperhead Road, New Bones, and end of Bam Ba Lam, or climb back up Lower Reboot to cut the climb in half. Trail is a more challenging climb with some technically demanding sections and contours along the drainage with more exposure.

This trail has some small surprises that should keep the trail exciting on a somewhat traditional contour trail. Watch your exposure.

Do not ride lower section after rain. Do not ride up Tumbler. Do not ride up Gnome Wrecker or Loam Wrecker.
