Need to Know

The trail is a bike specific and directional. While the trail is not technically difficult, it is narrow and includes several tight sections, including three narrow bridges (no railings) a very steep climb and a long bench cut along a steep hill side. Elevation changes are short and punchy and will undoubtedly elevate your heart rate considerably.

Description

Directional, bike-specific trail at Locust Shade Park in Triangle, VA. This is the first trail completed in the revitalization and improvement of singletrack trails at Locust Shade Park.

The trail includes two advanced wood features with dedicated by-passes. The first feature is a steep drop and the second a g-out type bridge across a short ravine. The trail includes steep climbs, a long narrow bench cut and several small drops, berms and jumps.
