Sheep are a common sight and should be respected by slowing down and hollering, to let them know of your presence.
This trail starts from the top of Hofstrandarskarð, continuing from Stone Circles down into the Brúnavík valley towards the beach. The descent starts on a narrow doubletrack with loose rocks and some alternate lines.
About halfway through, you reach the valley floor which is a grassy meadow with some boggy sections. No major creek crossings although at the terminus there is a beautiful beach with the only access by crossing the river.
