Great new addition to the local scene. Nice berms, drainage crossings and amazing views. This short trail has it all.

Need to Know

Small gravel lot you can park in and there are two entrances. One to the right that just zips in and one to the left that has a nice little climb and a downhill chicane.

Description

The Falls trail is the second trail CORA (Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance) has built in Mt Airy Forest. Mt. Airy forest is a Cincinnati City park and is only the second location for legal off road cycling in Hamilton county. This trail is point to point. Starting on the north end at a small gravel lot off of Shepherd Creek Rd., the trail has two entrances. An easy one to the right that just rolls into the fun initial run then a more fun way to the left that has a short climb a quick downhill chicane and an outstanding view. The trail connects on the south end to our first hand built trail Creamy Whip. Early on in the ride there is a very fun, somewhat technical creek crossing. You have to cross the creek 3 times to completely cross it. Shortly after you are riding next to exposure with a water fall down to the left in the creek below (easier to see on the way back). Nice quick climb then the trail rails to the next drainage crossing. This trail is very fast and flowy and will continue to improve as it ages.
