No restrooms, caution with kids to not get too close to waters edge fall in, caution crossing roads especially 165, Parking at the park by Hilmar Community Hall is free.
Description
Canal banks away from traffic. No issues with dogs. Some small hills for fun. Watch out for goat heads some places. Watch where the canal goes—there is some canal changes (at least 3), quite a few road crossings, including Hwy 165. The trail can be cut short at many locations along the way you can return on road.
