Must register at Russell Lands General Store or horse stables to use trails.

Overview

This is a great trail with one difficult hill just before the Wilson Road trailhead. Many great views and mostly shaded trail with gravel and dirt.

Need to Know

You must register at Russell Lands General Store or Stables in order to use the trails. There is no cost to ride and you must register annually. Also, you must call the security office to check in and check out of the trails. They have an app called Russell Lands that has a detailed map of the trails.

Description

I started at Willow Point Cutoff Trailhead and continued to Wilson Road Trailhead on Big Way trail. This is a great trail for multiple activities such as riding, cycling, driving golf carts, or riding horses. I was overwhelmed trying to decide on a loop but ultimately decided to go on this trail as it travels through the heart of the trail system.
