Description

This route is marked as route F and starts from the top of the Les Chavannes bubble lift. The first 5 km (3 mi) hover around 1600 m (5000 ft) in height with just a little bit of gentle climbing along a gravel road forest road. There are some great views to the east of the taller peaks along the Franco-Swiss border from some breaks in the forest cover. After that, you can look forward to an almost uninterrupted descent down to the base at Les Gets. There is about 2 km (1.2 mi) of singletrack along the descent right before you enter the outskits of Les Gets, but nothing too challenging.
