Need to Know

The Felsenwanderweg (F) Trail is a hiking trail, and I am 95% sure it is off limits to bikes (except for the short portion shared with this trail which is clearly marked for bikes). Germans take their rules seriously, so continue on the Felsenwanderweg (F) Trail at your own risk.

Description

This path is part of the Rodalben tour in the Naturpark Pfälzerwald. This portion of the trail takes you between the outskirts of Clausen and Rodalben. True to its name, the trail passes through the dense forest of the Pfälzerwald. (Wald is German for forest).

After leaving Clausen, you enter the Dreiweiherbach creek valley. The climb out of the valley is a short, steep singletrack which follows the Felsenwanderweg (F) Trail for a short distance. Follow the signs for the Rodalben mountain bike route to take you back to Rodalben.
