Overview
Waldfischbach-Burgalben is one of the official marked routes of the Mountainbikepark Pfälzerwald. The Mountainbikepark features 20 well-marked cross country routes through the Naturpark Pfälzerwald, one of the largest contiguous forests in Germany.
Description
This route features approximately 30% singletrack connected with dirt and gravel forest roads mostly through dense forest. There are quite a number of climbs of around 100 m (300 ft), but usually the downhills are steeper.
The route is a figure-8 meeting in the small hamlet of Heltersburg. If 34 miles isn't to your liking, either half of the figure-8 makes for a nice ride.
