This path is part of the Rodalben tour in the Naturpark Pfälzerwald. This portion of the trail takes you between the outskirts of Leimen and Clausen. True to its name, the trail passes through the dense forest of the Pfälzerwald. (Wald is German for forest).

Just after leaving Leimen, you'll begin a gradual climb to the Schmalerkopf, the high point in this segment. After that, you can enjoy the easy descent along dirt and gravel roads to the outskirts of Clausen.
