The park technically closes at dusk and reopens at dawn every day.

Need to Know

Free, public trail. No restroom access. No parking fees.

This is a preserve, so do NOT harass or harm any wildlife you encounter.

Description

A very flat but scenic path that connects to other trails in the woods, so you can ride this out and back, or ride through to other trails. During summer, this path may become muddy and or overgrown at times.

You may encounter wildlife, such as gators, snakes, otters, deer, owls, turkeys, and many others. This runs both directions, and is also frequented by hikers, runners, people fishing, and people walking dogs (on leash only).

No parking lot at this entrance where you basically have to park on the side of the road near the entrance. The preserve is open from sunrise to sunset. This land is owned and managed by South Florida Water Management District.
