Overview

A great track on a mix of trails along the river and through the woods. This loop features lots of nature and beautiful Florida scenery.

Need to Know

The Flagler Trail is multi-use, so check your speed and be prepared to yield accordingly.

Description

Little Big Econ trails are in the Florida State Forest system and are sometimes called "Snow Hill Road". There are signs at the beginning of each trail, which is helpful for staying oriented.

This ride starts with Yahoo to Ditch of Doom, before heading south on Ditch of Doom and back north to Dingbat. Take Dingbat past the little bridge on the River Trail (From Toxic Waste to Flagler Trail). Eventually, you'll come out on the Flagler Trail and continue right over one big bridge.

From here, turn left before the next big bridge. Take some time to take a break on the bridge and admire the scenery along the river.

If you are gassed, take the Flagler Trail back about a half mile and take a left at Two Bridge Trail. If not, take Outback to the left before the second bridge. Outback is about a three-mile loop back to the Flagler Trail and is the hardest (intermediate) but most rewarding section of this ride.

Then take the Flagler Trail and turn left onto the Two Bridge Trail to Meathead before heading back to a right on Dingbat and right on Ditch of Doom. Head north and take another right on Snake Trail, which leads back to Jones Trailhead parking lot, where you started your ride!
