Family Friendly Close to town, with smooth tread.

Please stay on the trail and be respectful as it crosses through a lot of private land.

Need to Know

Two of the best areas to park and begin are the Highland and Ellis intersection by the softball fields or the small lot on the south side of Kagy. Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT), with help from the community, put in YEARS of effort to get this trail built. Respect gets respect.

Description

This trail could be considered a green but has a few quick, steep climbs and switchbacks. Ride all the way from town to the mountains!

Even though rained last night trail in great shape. Some steep hills to climb. Pretty ride through tall grass and wildflowers. Great scenery.

Great ride for getting new riders used to singletrack and a few switchbacks. Feels like a singletrack sourdough to me. 10mi — 1h 25m
