Description

The trailhead is on Old Blackhawk Rd. There is lots of on-street parking. The trail starts with a steep climb up the ridge. It then follows the ridge westward to the end of the park. There are several loop opportunities from the ridge. The trail is all fire road that is fully exposed. With the exception of the first few feet it is all through grassland. Views north towards Mt. Diablo and south to Pleasanton abound.
