Description

This trail begins with a short paved road off of Wintonbury Road, then turns into a true fire road after a gate just about 300 feet from Wintonbury Road. There is a short descent and left turn before the trail bears right and begins a moderately steep climb to the powerlines.

The trail then flattens out again before making a tenth-of-a-mile climb into the forest. In the forest, the trail turns to dirt and narrows almost to the point of singletrack at some places for the next three-quarters of a mile. The trail widens and returns to gravel before taking a right past the water tanks and beginning a gravel descent that gradually steepens. The trail ends with a right turn and a gate before Route 189.
