Starting from the Hoodoo Parking area and the intersection with Tunnel Bench Loop, this trail descends to the level of the Bow River.
The elevation profile data used by the website to calculate climbing/descending isn't accurate in this area. You can expect to drop about 250 feet in the first mile through the forest down to the Bow River from the Hoodoo parking area. Once you reach the river, the trail is pretty flat and at times you are mere feet from the river and at one point can ride right into the river if you wish. Mount Rundle towers in the background. Then you've got a 100-foot climb to the Bow River parking area.
There is one set of stairs along the trail that you'll have to dismount for.
