Description

Many riders commonly use this trail to climb up from Salamander Flat Trail #150 to the Alpine Summit trailhead. Though steep in spots it is a good option for that. Take my word for it: climb to the top of Horse Flat and then ride down it and flow right into and down this trail. That is some rip-roaring fun right there!

The trail is narrow and tight amidst the ferns and understory. You've got to keep your wits about you as there are sniper rocks and stumps just off the side of the trail that could trip you up. This trail may be less commonly used than others in the area so it can become overgrown and there could also be deadfall across it. Keep an eye out for all those things. But, if you catch it when it's all clear, it is amazing!
