Official park rules are that dogs be kept on a 6-foot leash. And please pick up after your pets - poopy tires are not fun!
Need to Know
Some sections of the trail are on-way, with dividing descending and climbing tracks that run parallel to one another. These are clearly signed, and are a very nice addition the trail.
This is the most recent addition to the Catamount Trail
, and features lots of flow, with some fantastic berms. The professional trail building that occurred here really comes through. Although loops do exist, using some existing trails/logging roads, they are quite brutal for mountain biking, and the preferred method is to descend and climb on this same trail.
