“Climbing/descending singletrack alternative to the fire road. It's great for including Woodpecker Trail into a loop.
”
This is a short singletrack alternate roughly parallel to the Deerwood Dr. fireroad. If you're doing the lake loop in the clockwise direction, this trail climbs (southward) up to the junction with Woodpecker Trail and Blue Oak Trail as well as the Deerwood Dr. fireroad. In the counter-clockwise direction this is a fast, but technically easy descent down (northward) to the Eastside Trail.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
