Description

Los Alamitos Creek Trail is a four-mile stretch of paved trail connecting Almaden Lake Park to the Calero Creek Trail (and consequently, Santa Teresa County Park and Calero County Park).

This is the typical no elevation paved trail which is used by hikers, joggers, and commuters. The trail is family friendly and a good place to bring kids for a short bike ride. There are a few dirt opportunities along the way, which make it slightly more interesting (pay attention to the unmarked singletrack entrance that starts right after the pedestrian bridge connecting the Pfeiffer Ranch Road side to the parking lot at Camden Road).

This trail splits in two parallel tracks in many parts, merging back some distance ahead. The track shown here depicts the most commonly (and fully paved) route.
