Description

This trail connects off of The Divide Trail. (There is ALSO a connector to Stagecoach Trail, not shown on the map.) A nice climb, including through some narrow rocks, brings you to the top. Enjoy the view, it's gorgeous!

From there, you descend back down. Watch for signs saying "Most Difficult": these will lead you to the granite slab. The hardest part about descending the slab is route finding. For every "Most Difficult" section, there is a bypass available. With some good brakes and balance, the slabs are not hard.

Following the first descent, you wind your way back up through some singletrack to another patch of slab (with a bypass), then up more singletrack to the end/connector with Stagecoach Trail/connector with the start of North Diablo Trail.
