Description

This trail connects the bottom parking lot around the lake to the Batt Picnic Area, which is the center of mountain biking activity at Cacapon. The trail is built so beginner-intermediate level riders can enjoy it without extreme gradients or rocks, but intermediate and advanced riders will still enjoy the flow and alternate lines available. The area closest to the bottom can be a bit mucky when very wet, but it dries out as you climb.

This trail has several climbs that then have fun downhill sections on the climb up.

At the bottom, it starts at two picnic table openings past the bathrooms on Picnic Circle, past the nature center. At the top, it connects with Get-On-Up before clmibing the hill to the Batt Picnic Area. For now, look for the orange flags and ribbons until the trail is blazed this summer.
