Head west past the yellow gate off of Bald Mountain Road to take the gravel road up to the summit. During late summer, you can take advantage of trail-side blueberries for a nice mid-ride snack. Even if you miss the berries, the views are huge!
The descent from the summit starts on some steep, off-camber stuff before taking a fast route into a series of big jumps at Baldwin Brook. After the crossing, the trail completes a 0.6-mile climb to the Alter Ego Access Trail
