Most of the trail is within the PRA, so dogs should technically be leashed.

Description

Whitetail was built as alternative to the previously congested first section of Braggin' Rights, to the junction with Long Distance, primarily so that hikers and snowshoers don't have to contend with bikers descending Braggin' Rights at speed. It works just as well as a climbing trail for bikers.

From the parking lot, hang a right at the triangular junction immediately after the first sweeping turn. Keep left where the trail converges with Snowshoe Hare on the right.
