Going either way is fun but more enjoyable (and more downhill) going from east to west. The trail cuts on the back side of a small ridge that offers punchy climbs rewarded with fast off-camber downhill turns. It's not the rocks or roots that are tricky, it's the trees that come up on you quick on the downhills.
