This trail has it all; there are some easy sections but it gets very serious, very fast once you get to the north side.

Description

Please note: There is a $7 vehicle fee to enter the park or $3 if you bike in.

This trail starts out very easy, but soon turns serious. There are steep grades, rocky slab downhills, and even harder climbs. There are no easy outs once you get to the north side of the mountain. There is one feature the locals call "the waterfall" that resembles a rocky waterfall without the water. Overall, this loop is very rocky, very steep, and very serious.

If you don't have advanced skills, this is a good one to skip. There have been more than a few broken bones on this section of trail and it's best left for those with bikes and skills suited for this type of riding.

There is a campground nearby that has nice hot showers so you can wash all the dirt, blood and sweat off before you drive home (which is included in your entry fee).
