Description

This trail is 3.0 mi (5 km) with plenty of elevation drop over a technical descent that will have you buzzing. Completed by Nelson Moutainbike Club in October 2017, this trail is one of the most accessible technical trails close to Nelson City. The trail is rated as grade four technical.

The narrow, hand-built singletrack offers roots and rocky drops that will keep you on your toes the whole way down through scenic native bush. Named Te Ara Koa (translated as "trail to happiness") by local Maori, Ngati Koata.
