A great singletrack with a mixture of straight hiking-style trails and sharp rocky switchbacks.

Description

This is a fun connection between the Fire Trail and Hollow Trail. At the intersection with the Fire Trail there is a huge ancient oak tree. There's also a short spur trail that leaves from beside the oak. Look instead for the marked entrance to the Little Yellow Trail; it's a little offset, but not too hard to find.

The upper half of the trail travels through smooth swoopy terrain. The lower half has sharp corners, rocks, roots and even some off-camber parts.

Just a ways above the switchback is an easy bouldering wall for those who are into rock climbing. The wall has a few V0 to V2 problems that are worth checking out. There are a number of other bouldering spots throughout the park, so check the Mountain Project App out for more details.
