Description

This trail is good for connecting Pratt Trail (23W09) to Gridley Trail (22W05).

It is possible to make a strenuous but rewarding ~17-mile loop from Pratt Trail, Nordoff Ridge Road, down Gridley Trail (22W05) and across Fuel Break Road. This can be done starting at Gridley Trail (22W05) also, and in my opinion is the easier route as Gridley has a lower grade overall.

This is mostly a wide fire road, but is surprisingly hilly and can be tough after climbing to the top of Nordoff Peak. Stay on the marked trail and do not cross into private property, there are clear signs everywhere to keep you on track.
