Overview

Description

After making a right off of Trace Ridge, Spencer Branch Trail descends fairly steeply down the mountain with a series of flowy, bermed corners that are interspersed with rock gardens. The trail was rerouted in 2016 to moderate the grade and improve the trail.

So much flow you wouldn't even think you were in Pisgah. Once you get to the gravel road at the bottom you have the option of continuing this trail but I usually take a right coming out of the trail and continue on the road until I see Fletcher on the left to continue on another flowy trail. Rode it as an out "up" and back off of Fletcher Creek. Aside from a mid-descent endo, it was awesome. Oct 4, 2017
