Description

The dirt starts at the gate at the end of the paved portion of Puerco Canyon. There's parking alongside the road just before the wide doubletrack heads northwest. The views on the fire road can't be beat!

It's usually smooth and used often by service crews, but can be steep on the climb. Use to connect to Puerco Motorway to Backbone Trail, where you can go east to Tapia Park parking or west on Backbone Trail to Corral Canyon Road.
