Description

This short climbing trail gives riders an alternative to the middle section of the Ridge Trail. The first half is a bit more challenging as the narrow benching travels over occasional rocks and roots. A few steeper switchbacks require some effort and steady steering to climb through.

After it crosses over Ridge Trail East, things get a bit easier as it climbs onto the side of the ridge. At a cluster of rocks, there's an optional spur that connects to the Ridge Trail while the singletrack continues ahead. The rest of the trail up to the viewpoint is noticeable smoother and the switchbacks, while still frequent, are wider and easier to approach.
