There are some low areas that become wet and swampy during wetter portions of the year between 25 and 6.

Description

The trail exits the Big Pines area, travels through some low areas that are somewhat swampy during the wetter portions of the year, then climbs to meet the southeast loop at signpost #6, or allows you to bypass the longer southeast loop and climb back to the trailhead. There are several short climbs you can choose to return to the trailhead.
