Dry, Some Mud, Fallen Trees - there is a paved road that you cross. I would take the trail east and west till I hit this road, or take the paved road to the trail and go east or west. 26 miles is long for one day. Breaking the trail in half makes for a better day. Riding the trail either direction has it's benefits. History

Description

A rocky, 26-mile loop, designated as one of IMBA's Epics. Expect several long, sustained climbs and rocky descents. The trail is criss-crossed by several forest roads that can be used as bail outs, if needed. The trail drains well after rainfall, but has several creek crossings. The most popular direction is clockwise as mapped, giving in to longer descents vs ascents.

For more information, see the GORC trail page here.
