A rocky, 26-mile loop, designated as one of IMBA's Epics. Expect several long, sustained climbs and rocky descents. The trail is criss-crossed by several forest roads that can be used as bail outs, if needed. The trail drains well after rainfall, but has several creek crossings. The most popular direction is clockwise as mapped, giving in to longer descents vs ascents.
For more information, see the GORC trail page here.
Trail was in very good shape, only one tree down and no complaints. Rode clockwise starting at Bass, only saw one other biker on a holiday weekend.
