Public access is now allowed year round by parking at the neighboring church and biking Baptist Bypass to access all of the glory (pun intended) that Glorieta has to offer. Glorieta politely asks that we stay outside the Green Trail loop on all the amazing trails.

Description

From the back of the RV park at Glorieta, Ghost Town begins with a casual pedal up the drainage. Plenty of shade, a mellow grade, and beautiful mountain scenery make this a pleasant trail to climb... for now. A few miles up, you'll come to a meadow containing the ruins of old wooden structures, "Ghost Town."

Not long after passing this meadow, you'll come to the first very steep section of trail. Get ready to push your bike! Very steep and challenging pitches are broken up by a few flattish sections, but it's mostly too steep to ride until you reach the junction with the Glorieta Baldy Road (375).

Steady ride up until La Cueva Ridge climb and there after where there are multiple downed trees, rubble, leaves and pine cones that litter the trail. 5.5mi
