Family Friendly: Great scenery good hiking and biking. Not too hot in the summer.
From Highway Exit 57, drive 100 yards north on S Main, turn right on Old Highway 91 and drive 200 yards. Turn left on Greenslake Dr and continue for two miles until you reach the Greens Lake Trailhead (37.64, -113.06 / 690 Cedar Highlands Dr). Greenslake Dr becomes Cedar Highlands Dr when it becomes a gravel road.
There are only a couple of features on this trail. The fun begins when you hit Lava Flow
. The trail was cut with a mini Dozer and the Kubota Track hoe, hence the width and the flow. There is about 75 feet of rock garden as you approach Lichen It
. We worked hard on the berms to make this a flow trail.
The new trail that connects Green Hollow to the C Trail should be done in July. We need rain.
