Description

This is a 2.5-mile beginner friendly loop around the lake. It can be navigated in either direction as both have the fun of descending below the spillway and the climb back up and out.

There are three stream crossings, two below the spillway and one up near the wall. The one up near the wall can be tricky if the side stream is flowing as the stepping stones are just below the surface. The main one from the spillway is rideable with momentum.

Overall, this is a great loop for beginners.

Access Info:
Off 322 and then from either of the three parking areas. The trail goes right through the two that also have a boat launch and is a short trip down the road from the overlook area.

The spillway crossing is straightforward, although potentially wet.

I went with my beginner sister and she loved it! Fun for novice riders and some more experienced riders! Careful crossing the steam though.

Great trail to get a nice quick ride in. Can easily be added to many of the close by trails. 2.5mi
