Getting forecast...

A challenging trail with natural beauty, many stream crossings, and one of the largest rock shelters along Sheltowee.

Jeff Carter

Overview

Big Creek near the end has no bridge. You might be able to ride across when the water is low. After a rain, however, the only way across is to get your feet wet.
Features: -none-

Description

Section 31 starts at US 27 and ends at the National Park Boundary. The trail starts easy but gets difficult a short ways in. Much of it is very rideable, but there are a few hike-a-bike spots.

The end is marked with an obvious large wooden sign that says, "NPS Boundary".

Parking: There is parking available at the beginning of the trail adjacent to the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church with a shelter and picnic tables. There is also a gravel parking lot a short distance south on US 27 for Sheltowee Trace NRT: Section 30. This is a good place to park for extra mileage. There is no parking near the end of Section 31.
