Description

This out-and-back leads up to a pass yielding a wide open view over public lands all the way into Mexico. Beyond the lookout, the road continues west into Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. Hiking and horseback riding only are allowed in Cabeza Prieta at this junction. The entrance is marked as 8113B from the Scenic Loop.
