Overview

The road passes through private property until the marked BLM boundary. Please stay on the road.
Features: -none-

Description

This is the county road that can be used to access the Spring Canyon Trails, including Lower Spring Creek Trail, and others. As of May 2017, "no trespassing" signs are posted on the sides of the road, to discourage public use. However, Spring Canyon road is open to the public. Please stay on the road and leave gates as you found them.

The bridge over Spring Creek is dilapidated. Use care when walking or riding over this bridge. Vehicles are not recommended due to the poor condition of the bridge.

We should note that Road Closed sign only applies to motorized vehicles; for those of us that enjoy biking free from motorized safety concerns and competition, this is perfect. Feb 6, 2018

The motorized closure is temporary, alas. My understanding is that the road will re-open to motorized vehicles once the culvert is replaced. Feb 6, 2018
