Description

This trail can be ridden in either direction. It starts at a Forest Road closed gate on Wash Creek Road and goes up to just below the parkway, connecting with the Trace Ridge Trail #354.

The beginning is a steep climb on an overgrown forest road. After about a 1/3 of a mile, you make a right to stay on Spencer Gap. It turns into true singletrack here. It's still a steep climb for a while but eventually mellows out for the second half. The terrain is a mixture of mostly hard pack and some loose rock sections here and there.
