Description

An alternate to Bates Well Road going from Locomotive Rock to the Scenic Loop. Take the unmarked turnoff just before the Bates Well / Locomotive intersection. Watch for the sharp turn heading east at the trail apex. If you find yourself floundering in the east at the trail apex, you know you missed it.
