This doubletrack off of Red Cedar Lake Rd heads north until it reaches the boundary of Rte 2 before heading east to the Watertank. The road passes the start of the Mooween trail system entrance and exit. It also passes several points where the trail system intersects the road.

The trail starts in a gradual climb until it passes a large outcropping of stacked boulders on the right, it levels out and then begins to descend. The grade becomes steeper the further you descend the road.
