“This loop features killer views from Kanaka Peak (2,616').”
— Ryan Schuppert
This trail is usually ridden to the top and back down the way you came on the west side of the loop. You can make it a loop by dropping down the east side, but that trail is usually not maintained as well as the western half of the trail that you came up. Overall, it's not a bad climb up, with no really steep spots.
The views from the top are excellent. I would recommend going back the way you came and then taking the Kanaka Cutoff AKA "Taco Stand" Trail
down when you see it on your right.
