Description [Suggest Changes]

This trail is tightly packed which makes the best possible use of the area. These trails are in a county park surrounded by neighborhoods.

The trail drains well and has a fair amount of roots. It is not too hilly. The trails are tight and twisting. The trail is divided into sections A-F with a change coming every time you cross a path.

The park map can be found here: co.frederick.va.us/home/sho…

Section F towards the end has a split. Take the right fork for a bit more trail. Go left to get back to Landgrant Ln. This way is a bit quicker.

Directional single track that's pretty well built and maintain. Nearly flat with no technical sections though there are some roots. No rock garden or other trail features. Since there's no hills or climbs and no tech...I give it a green. Basically a beginner level trail. It's short so you'll have to do several laps to get in some miles but overall...it's a fun little trail system. Sep 25, 2017
