A forested singletrack following the ridge contours.”

Family Friendly: This is a short loop. The singletrack is wide enough to navigate for beginner riders. It offers sections that offer some progression as children or new riders learn new skills.
The trail circumnavigates the terrain of the park very nicely. It winds around the outside of the disc golf course. There are a couple of spots to be courteous and pay attention to the disc golf players and where the trail isn't cut in and there is mixed grass/dirt. There are kiosk signs at the road crossings which can give you bearings and get you back on your track. Once you ride the loop once, however, you'll have it down.
The trail follows the contours of the park's ridges and offers some nice flowing sections and punchy, short climbs. It's definitely not flat but offers some nice change in terrain.
It has a comparable feel to some aspects of Center Trails at Greenwood & Water Works Park as it regards flow and terrain. It was also built by Central Iowa Trail Association.
Overall, it is an enjoyable trail. The connector between start/finish on the pavement may seem like a negative, but it offers a nice chance to recover. This easily enables you to get more miles by looping it multiple times, which flows fairly well.
