“Explore white spruce, black spruce, and jagged limestone cliffs on this singletrack.
”
Fossil Creek starts at the north end of Wickersham Creek Trail at the Borealis-LeFevre Cabin on the north side of Beaver Creek. As it heads north, it begins with a broad, open valley and black spruce forests. It then passes through a burn area before a climb to the Fossil Creek drainage.
Just around the halfway mark, the route intersects with Fossil Gap Trail. Continue straight to experience a spectacular section of trail that heads past jagged limestone cliffs and through white spruce forests.
