Almost all of the French's Ledges trails in one ride!

Norm Berman

Overview

A route through a great trail network in Plainfield and one of the best systems in the Upper Valley.
Dogs: Off-leash

Description

To access this featured ride, start at Plainfield School. Take the French's Ledges Blue Trail (FrLB) across a bridge. Take a right onto Townsend Loop (TL), then right to head up Switchback Trail (Sw).

At the top of Switchback Trail (Sw), take a right onto Ira's Loop (IL). Once around Ira's, there's an option to take a right onto the Farnum Trail (FaTr), or continue on French's Ledges Red Trail (FrLR) to the Guerrilla Trail.

From Farnum Trail (FaTr), head back to French's Ledges Red Trail (FrLR) to go over the top to the Guerrilla Trail and then east to the Ledges downhill section of French's Ledges Red Trail (FrLR).

For more riding, take a left onto the Townsend Loop (TL), then up So Inclined (SI) to the Missing Link Trail, back to Ledges Trail downhill (it's worth riding twice!).

At bottom of the Ledges downhill section, make a left to return to the start or take a right to do the Rattlin' Bog Loop (RBL), finishing on Blood Brook Loop (BB) Trail.

Fun!! Difficult to navigate because of the large number of trails and very leafy conditions, still awesome. 8mi — 1h 30m
