Family Friendly New riders will have a great time on the downhill and flat sections, but might have difficulties on the switchbacks.

Description

The trail starts off in a fairly easy, winding trail through cedar tress and that drops you out into a flowing, flat section by the river. From there, you start climbing up the hill on several well laid out switchbacks. When you reach the top of the hill, you get to ride a downhill pump track section! How's that for the middle of Kansas? The trail continues with several switchbacks and a couple of challenging climbs.

The first section of the trail has some tight turns and lots of roots in a big grove of cedar trees.

This portion of the trail has really tight turns that come so close together it's confusing. Watch for orange on the trees.

The start of the downhill section, kind of a small pump-track down the hill. It's fun!

I don't know if this area floods, but this is a good section to keep your balance!

This is one of the creative obstacles they've built along the trail. Good for new riders to build confidence!

Challenging after the pump track with lots of stones on the path and steep climbs. Large branch in path about 10 minutes in but passable. 3.7mi
